day 6. reverb10

What was the last thing you made? What materials did you use? Is there something you want to make, but you need to clear some time for it? (Author: Gretchen Rubin)

The last thing I made was baby bootie slippers made out of ecofelt (recycled plastic bottles), round satin ribbon, and handstitching by yours truly with DMC floss.  They were my first project of anything like this, and I think they came out quite adorable.

While this pair is a gift (for a little baby with the name ‘Galilea’…now is that not just a precious??) I hope to make a few more for my soon-to-be-opened etsy shop!!  So now I just wonder: what will come first, the time or the guts?
